P300 is a free P2P program that lets the user chat and share folders with other members on a local network. P300 is integrated with an HTTP server to be able to download files. It works on a JAVA platform. Just install it, and it locates itself in the Windows tray as an icon, from which you can access its options menu.
In difference to other programs, P300 only works on a LAN or VPN. It has nothing in common with programs like Ares or eMule, which connect to a large community. In P300 the user can select those folders that can be shared and limit the bandwidth. It includes a simple to use download manager.
